How It All Began!!

Hello amazing people out there!!

How are you all doing?

Do you have any special things
that you loved doing this hard time? Something that kept you occupied? Something that you've always wanted to do but didn't have time to do it all this time and you've finally able to do it with this extra time you have? For me it is baking. I've always wanted to learn how to bake but couldn't do it until few weeks ago. And I should say I love it. It has kept me occupied for few hours a week and my favourite part is seeing my brother's and father's faces while they devour it down.

What I love more than baking is, cooking. I LOVE COOKING! If you know me you know, how much I love cooking. I love finding new recipes, trying new food, experimenting with ingredients and basically I love anything to do with cooking.Even though I love new recipes, I don't like following them.I like getting the general idea of how its done, and do my own thing. Fun fact is I USED TO HATE COOKING. I thought it was very messy, time consuming and exhausting. And I hated the feeling of fresh meat between my fingers. I often wondered why my mother enjoyed cooking that much. She always though her food wasn't that good but I always thought her food was DELICIOUS. I still crave for her food everyday and I wish she was here!☹️

My love for cooking started after I went abroad for studies. I had no other choice but to cook for myself in order to survive, as eating from outside wasn't an option because it was way too expensive than I could afford. Honestly learning to cook has changed my life! First few weeks were challenging, but with time I got used to it. I once shared with one of my friends,

that I hate cooking but at the same time I want to get better at it. I think what he shared that was one of the turning points. He said not to think cooking as a burden, but use that time as something where you can think and relax;when your mind is troubled, go start making something. Since then I started to looking at cooking in a different perspective. That actually came in handy after my mother was gone. Whenever I miss her, whenever I miss her food, when I feel sad or whenever my mind is troubled I go to the kitchen and try new food. Even though it is very relaxing to my mind, I don't think my body agrees with it.😜

Do you guys love cooking or do you hate it? If you hate it why do you hate it? Is it the messiness, time or the aftermath of cooking, like doing dishes and all? I would really like to know what you all think about it. And for everyone who love or enjoy cooking, what's your all time favourite thing to make? Do you have any recipes you would like to share with me? I would love to try those.

Thank you all so much for stopping by!!
